Production Scheduler

Job Profile:
General Job Functions:
The production scheduler will provide planning functional expertise
Specific Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Manufacturing team and master scheduler to provide accurate work center capacity and availability
2. develop and implement process improvements; and interace with all other functions of the organization
3. Work with Manufacturing cells and team leaders to make adjustments to the production schedule and network plan when projects drastically vary from their originally estimated capacity requirements
4. Ensure accruate data is entered and maintained in Network plan

Specific Skills, Knowkedge and abilities Required:
1. Must possess knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and have excellent computer skills
2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes involved or the ability to learn these thoroughly
3. Finite scheduling principles and their application to Engineer to order environment
4. Problem solving and initiative to proactively identify and provide solutions for capacity constraints
